Become a Volunteer at our Senior Community

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Lourdes Senior Community Volunteer! Our volunteers play an essential role in carrying out our mission of compassion, dignity, and service. The process to join our volunteer team begins with a few simple steps, including completing an application and submitting required documentation. Once accepted, you’ll receive orientation and training to ensure a meaningful and rewarding experience. Your time and talents can make a real difference in the lives of those we serve—welcome to a community where every act of kindness counts.

LSC Volunteer Pre-interview

Step 1

Fill out the following and return to the Volunteer Coordinator.

- Volunteer Application
- Volunteer Area of Service choices
- Volunteer Opportunities

Step 2

Copy of COVID-19 vaccine (Mandatory)

Step 3

Copy of your driver’s license or student ID

Step 4

After steps 1-3 are completed, the Volunteer Office will call to set up an interview.

After Interview and Officially Accepted into the Volunteer Program

Step 1

Personally, arrange to get a TB test through your Personal Care Provider or Pediatrician or at a walk-in Urgent Care clinic. Most insurances cover the costs involved.

Step 2

Once Volunteer Services has received all the required paperwork requested above, you will be required to attend an LSC Volunteer Orientation session.

Step 3

At Orientation, you will review the identification badge process. You will also receive instruction on how to log your volunteer hours and information on how to purchase a volunteer apron.

Step 4

You’re now an LSC volunteer! Thank you kindly for your service.

, agree to serve as a student volunteer with Lourdes Senior Community (LSC) in the capacities outlined in my orientation. While volunteering, I understand that I will be expected to: Commit to volunteer at least 3 days per month if I am 12- 14 years old with a minimum of 1.5 hours per day, and 1 day per week if I am 15 years or older for a minimum of 2 hours per week. Attend all required training and retraining or plan with Volunteer department if unable to attend due to school schedule. Follow the LSC Code of Conduct, Confidentiality and HIPPA Policy always If a need arises to change volunteer schedule – it must be first approved by Volunteer Leadership. If unable to continue with volunteer assignment(s), a letter of resignation to the Volunteer Specialist will be provided. Adhere to the Student Volunteer dress code Cell phone use and texting are prohibited Additionally, I understand the following: My volunteer service may be terminated at any time for any reason My volunteer service does not guarantee employment at LSC I have read and understand the terms above.
