Lourdes Senior Community, inspired by the gospel of Jesus and sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Peace, provides a broad continuum of care for seniors and their families. All who minister at Lourdes honor the uniqueness of each person with compassion, love, respect and dignity.
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
We have embarked on the rebuild of Lourdes Nursing Home. We have redesigned a Healthcare Center for today and tomorrow. This rebuild includes accommodations for those living with memory loss and those needing long term care. We have a beauty setting and have advantage of this by incorporating a number of courtyards for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. Both inside and outside are designed to meet the healthcare needs of seniors, as well as the social and emotional needs. Lourdes Senior Community has long offered “naming opportunities” to our supporters as a way to honor and recognize our friends. We offer the ability to name a part of Lourdes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center after a donor, a family member, friend, or staff. We invite you to consider a naming opportunity with our new Lourdes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Your donation will Ensure our Legacy for Future Generations.

Planned giving is a charitable gift in consideration of your estate and tax plans. Planned Giving is a way for you to support Lourdes Senior Community with a commitment far greater than you may have thought possible. It allows Lourdes to provide care and caring far into the future. Depending upon the assets you contribute, the method you select, your personal situation and other circumstances, you can obtain an immediate charitable tax deduction, increase your cash flow or reduce your estate tax.
Wills & Bequests – A bequest in your Will is the simplest and most common method of making a planned gift. You can provide for Lourdes Senior Community’s future by including the following statement in your Will:
“I give and bequeath to the Lourdes Senior Community the sum of $_______, or ________ face value bonds, or ________% of my estate.”
Permanent Endowment — is an endowment which would allow Lourdes Senior Community to use the income from your gift. The fund would be held in perpetuity by Lourdes.
Charitable Gift Annuity — is a contract between a donor and Lourdes, whereby the donor transfers cash or property to Lourdes in exchange for a partial tax deduction and a lifetime stream of annual income from the Lourdes.
Charitable Remainder Trust — is a tax-exempt irrevocable trust designed to reduce the taxable income of a donor by first dispersing income to the beneficiaries of the trust for a specified period of time and then donating the remainder of the trust to Lourdes.
Insurance Policy — You can remember Lourdes Senior Community by naming Lourdes as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
