Construction Updates

Dear Friends and Family,

Hopefully this finds you well and enjoying the last weeks of warmth before winter sets in.

As I write this message, life continues to present surprises. Early this summer there was positive progress on addressing the challenges of COVID-19. Throughout our area and the nation, the experience of COVID was decreasing. Because of this welcome reality, we were able to restore many activities and the residents enjoyed having visitors for the first time in over a year. We are excited to return to more of our usual ways of being with each other.

The reality of COVID will continue to present everyone with challenges. As always, the residents, their loved ones, staff, and everyone’s safety is our first priority. We are remaining vigilant in accessing what will best assure their safety and well-being, including responding to current and developing regulations.

Autumn is a time of gratitude and for remembering our blessings. At Lourdes, it is also a time to celebrate individuals who have made a lasting impact on our community through their time, talent or treasures. Normally, we honor a select few at our Lourdes Legacy Event. Due to COVID-19, we are postponing this event another year. Instead, we invite you to read about a few generous individuals and learn how you can become a part of Lourdes Legacy. See their stories on page eleven.

Lourdes is a holy place, sustained by your prayers and support. Your commitment and faithful dedication to our mission makes it possible for Lourdes to be the best senior living experience. May God continue to gift you with many graces.

In gratitude for your care and support.
